CityBase gets acquired by Austin company for $160M

CityBase, a cloud-based SaaS platform that connects the public to local government, was acquired for $160 million by Austin-based GTY Technology Holdings this week, according to Crain’s. The holdings company acquired five other government-tech companies in the same card swipe, and will operate CityBase as a separate unit.
