WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) Cyber security experts showed business owners and students how to protect their networks and keep personal information out of hacker’s hands.
Friends University hosted OzSec 2018 Cyber Security Purple Scramble at Intrust Bank Arena from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. The Purple Scramble is part of Wichita’s first cyber security conference, OzSec 2018.
After the sessions, attendees were split into two teams for a challenge in the Friends University cyber lab to use their newly acquired cyber security knowledge and techniques.
Each team tried to hack into the other team’s network while protecting their own. The program director says events like this help professionals stay ahead of cyber threats and learn how to stop attackers.
