CLEVELAND, Ohio — The fast-moving trend to take everything we value to the digital space has tremendous benefits, but it also makes us more vulnerable to cyberattacks, said cybersecurity expert John Carlin.
“That’s why it’s so urgent that people understand where we are now, so we have the resolve to fix it,” Carlin said. The former assistant United States attorney general for national security and chief of staff to then-F.B.I. Director Robert Mueller will speak at BusinessTECH18, a one-day conference focused on issues related to business and technology coming Thursday.
BusinessTECH18 takes place 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Cleveland Public Auditorium and Conference Center, 500 Lakeside Ave. The one-day event features more than 50 sessions, vendor exhibits and panel discussions on supply chains, digital security, innovation, diversity and more.
BusinessTECH18 is aimed at people who are technology innovators and corporate decision-makers, said Doug Wenger, executive in residence at OHTec. The event
