Alexandria, VA – APCO International has launched a new 9-1-1 cybersecurity section of the APCO website at apcointl.org/cybersecurity. This new resource was designed with the needs of emergency communications centers (ECCs) and today’s cyber threats in mind. The section begins with a straight-forward list of options to follow in the event of a cyberattack, followed by tools and information to keep ECCs as secure as possible. Visitors can also view timely, actionable information, including daily, relevant updates directly from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT).
