Secure Logic to open second cyber threat centre in India

A statement from the company said its revenue in the Asian region had been doubling since it started operations in 2015. Among its customers are Telecom Malaysia, Maybank, Paysys, GHL and AXS.

Chief executive Santosh Devaraj said there was a growing demand for security services in India.

“Heavily influenced by the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, the Indian Government is exploring legislation to protect personal data and impose limitations on the collection and processing of sensitive data,” he said.

“While the draft legislation may face some amendments, cyber security is front of mind for government and businesses, driving unprecedented growth across the sector.

“To capitalise on this opportunity, Secure Logic will open a 24/7 Cyber Threat Intelligence Centre in Bangalore by December 2019 and increase our local headcount from 10 to 40.
