Growing South Whitehall cybersecurity company Netizen schedules open house

Ever want to learn about emerging threats to cybersecurity, and ways to combat them, while networking with a few business colleagues or friends?

Netizen Corp., a South Whitehall Township firm that specializes in software assurance and cybersecurity, is holding an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at its new facility, 4905 Tilghman St., Suite 210.

The open house will include information sessions by cybersecurity professionals, tips to prevent security breaches, and risk management and compliance solutions for businesses, according to the company.

Launched in September 2013, Netizen specializes in cybersecurity for defense, government and commercial markets. Max Hess, the company’s chief business development officer, said the company has 40 employees in 12 states, with most in the Lehigh Valley, Huntsville, Ala., and Orlando. Growth, prompted by an increase in defense spending and the federal government’s focus on improving cybersecurity, led to the recent local move, he said.
